Features of a Leaf Blower

Features are more specialised functions that expand on attributes. Features are there to enhance the user’s ease of control. This article will list and describe some features:

Anti-Vibration – Prevention or more appropriate resistance against vibrations. You may still get vibrations using this but it is there to minimise vibrations. Good for helping with strain and uncomfortable operation.

Attached Vacuum – Unlike flicking a switch you require to spend a little time switching parts of the machine to attach an add-on vacuum. Then you are able to flick on the vacuum control and hoover those leaves!

Collection Bag – Typically included with vacuum combo blowers. Storage for leaves which come in different sizes.

Cruise Control – Holding an on button for long periods gets tedious and straining. So help straining your hands and fingers by using this automatic feature.

Flared Nozzle – Concentrate airflow and increase power with using this type of head.

Integrated Vacuum – Vacuuming leaves is the ability to suck up the gathered leaves into some sort of collection point, typically a bag attachment. But there are different vacuum attributes namely integrated and attached which will be explained in this article also. Integrated is the best type to get as all that is needed from you is to flick a switch, on or off, easy control.

Shoulder Strap – Support for carrying. Useful if you are collecting leaves as well through the use of a vacuum.

Variable Speed – This can be a small switch or speed dial to increase or decrease the air power/speed to protect against surface damage/disturbance.
